There is all the Haute-Couture repertoire. From tailor-made suits, to fine textiles, to the cat-walk. On the catwalk,though, in a blue suit and bow-tie, there is no model, but his hand. This is the very original idea presented by Lernet&Sanders, Brioni for Wallpaper for their short movie.
“Handmade”, this is the name of the short movie, where a miniature dummy is represented dancing to breezy,happy, easy music. Before this part, the preparations of the suit take place with cutting,sewing, and ironing. All of it done in a miniature version.
The challenge for these creatives, in this ad, was to create an actual tailor-made suit, of very small dimensions, on a hand. Comparison with a surgeon goes inevitably to micro-surgery….
