Question of contents

The last International Book Fair in Turin proposed a browsable face that looked just like any other volume as its publicity. A boy, through a hand movement, opens up his face to the contents as if to want to show the non-tangible reality of the mind.

Between metaphor and symbolism, the deviser plays on the idea of matter, meaning, and material.
When one opens a book he never knows what he’ll find inside nor what the book will reveal.
Same goes sometimes for Plastic Surgery: when the surgeon cuts he doesn’t know what he’ll find underneath, particularly in secondary or revision surgery where you don’t know what was done before – it’s a surprise! It will be up to the doctor’s ability and know-how.

One cannot notice the precision with which the folds of the epidermis become sheets of paper. Compliments to the Art Director!
